Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz was a prominent 20th-century Sunni scholar, university president, jurist, and former Grand Mufti. He completed traditional Islamic education by memorizing the Quran and mastering jurisprudence, authored over 30 volumes of rulings, and won the King Faisal Prize.
